About the founders of
Highland Physical Therapy

Picture
Kimberly Schwarze, MPT is Pocatello’s leading physical therapist who can help active adults with knee and shoulder pain quickly get back to the sports and workouts they love, without painkillers or injections. She grew up in Colorado, attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and received her Bachelor of Science degree. She then moved to Pocatello Idaho to study Physical Therapy at Idaho State University. She and her husband are raising two amazing children: a girl in college at BYU, and a boy who serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoys doing triathlons with her sisters, gardening, photography and digital scrapbooking.  In the winter, she enjoys skiing - both downhill and cross-country.
Kimberly founded Highland Physical Therapy in order to have more flexibility in choosing the best treatment plan for each patient. She believes that everyone is unique and has unique problems to be solved. Whether someone wants to return to marathon running, or just enjoy travel without joint pain, a plan of care can be established specific to that need.

She believes that individual care is just that. One-on-one with the team member that has the best skills for each client.
She also believes in a positive, enjoyable setting that can be fun and a little goofy sometimes.
